They have all been appointed European Capitals of Culture.
European Capital of Culture is an international project founded by the Council of the European Union.
Its purpose is to strengthen and emphasize the diversity of European culture.
Each year a new city is appointed, and in 2017 it's Århus' turn.
Århus has made its mark in recent years as an exciting, up-and-coming city characterized by its passion for cultural diversity.
There's a famous saying, known to Danes and Norwegians: "It's good to be a Norwegian in Denmark". The well-known adage is inescapable, because it is true. It really is good to be a Norwegian in Denmark. Especially so at Råbjerg Mile Camping. In fact, any Scandinavian or European who loves camping will love it here.
